SEO & Targeted Display Advertising Course

This course is aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge of how internet search engines work, namely the key elements that determine a website’s visibility on Google and how to use various SEO factors to improve a site’s chance of ranking more highly.

 

The course will also cover the basics of paid search marketing, including display ads, that target users searching specific keywords.

 

Syllabus:

  • Keyword research and identification

  • Understanding how Google Search works: organic and paid search

  • SEO fundamentals: on-page and off-page factors, long-tail keywords

  • Using Google Ads to organise keywords, audiences and creating reports

  • Display ads and YouTube advertising

 

Learning outcomes:

Participants will gain an understanding of how Google determines a website’s visibility on its search engine, which methods can be used to improve ranking, and how to use paid search marketing to increase web traffic and online conversions.
